I have been introducing the brand Filling Pieces on this blog some time ago and ever since I actually got to know the man behind the brand and also have been able to really see and touch the products. Since I personally find it still very interesting to see this brand developing I would like to share this short video, showing owner Guillaume talking about how he started Filling Pieces.

Some friends introduced me to this new footwear label called “Filling Pieces” . I really like the concept, the brandname, the products, the choice of materials and colours. Also, I was really impressed when I heard the person behind this brand is a 19 year old architecture student. He truly seems to have some talent and I think his brand deserves attention.
The Filling Pieces Philosophy:
‘Filling Pieces. Since 2009. A brand started by Guillaume
Philibert, Gsrnn. It was founded in Amsterdam,
Holland. The shoes are supposed to stand for
a strong concept. The filling piece in a gap. This gap is
formed between the Haute Couture and Street Couture.
The most important thing was to fill this with good products and
designs. The products connect people and
styles. The designs are sporty and classy
chic at the same time.”

I absolutely love these heels I spotted at ASOS . 13,7 cm … damn that IS high =) I LIKE!
Too bad my budget for not needed but wanted stuff is more than gone this month … “sigh”

Today I saw a guy wearing UGGs and I always feel like it just looks sooo wrong! Back in Berlin I only know girls wearing them and I think they look okay in women sizes but when I came here to Amsterdam this year I was shocked seeing guys wearing them! Maybe its just me but I don´t think they look nice in size 10 or so anymore and its not like its so cold here that one needs them (especially at this time of the year) , so I assume it´s a fashion thing … but why?!?! -.-
It wasn´t this guy I saw today but the impression is similar ....
